CTQ Level 3 Award in Forest School First Aid
The CTQ Level 3 Award in Forest School First Aid is designed for individuals with a specific responsibility to provide first aid in Forest School settings, for adults and children in outdoor environments. This unique qualification is suitable for Forest School Practitioners (Level 3), Forest School Assistants (Level 2), and Forest School Support Staff (Level 1). This qualification prepares learners to handle a range of first aid situations in the unique context of a Forest School setting, ensuring they are ready to respond to emergencies with confidence and competence.
This 16-hour qualification covers a broad spectrum of outdoor first aid situations, providing learners with the necessary skills to assess and prioritise actions and provide first aid for both adults and children.
The qualification meets the Resus Council (UK) guidelines, the IOL Statement of Good Practice on Outdoor First Aid at Band 3, and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) standards for Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), ensuring learners are fully equipped for real-world scenarios.
Successful learners can also progress to the CTQ Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work.
