CTQ Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid +F

The CTQ Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid +F is designed for individuals working in forestry or agricultural settings who have a responsibility to provide first aid in emergency situations. Learners typically work in areas such as harvesting, civil engineering, mechanised ground preparation, planting, fencing, pesticide application, forest nursery activities, or public-facing roles.  

This qualification is ideal for those who already hold a valid Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work qualification and wish to enhance their skills for working in more remote, outdoor environments. 

This 3-hour top-up qualification prepares learners to handle a variety of first aid situations in forestry and agricultural settings, ensuring they can confidently assess, prioritise actions, and provide effective first aid when help may be far away.  

It meets the requirements of the Forestry England First Aid Policy – PPG 59, as well as the relevant sections of the IOL Statement of Good Practice on Outdoor First Aid at Band 3.
